All good headhunters will ensure they understand the Brief, be strong project managers and be able to identify suitable candidates. I think being able to deliver a great Search whilst making it enjoyable for everyone and ensuring a great candidate journey for all the candidates is where I add value. And I am tenacious at the close! I keep in touch, no one is in the dark at any point during the process and I will never give up until I have found the right candidate. It’s my reputation that is at stake with every piece of work I take on, the tasks are not passed to someone else to deliver, there is nowhere to hide.

The Murray Partnership’s approach is to work with a small, tightly managed client base and dedicate more time, energy and focus than is usually possible to get from a larger, often London-centric firm. The main difference is that the Partnership is uninhibited by internal competition, practice group limitations, and rigid fee structures. All contact with clients, candidates and referees will be made by me, Rebecca Murray. This model has resulted in a 15 year long, 100% success rate in completing assignments.

 

It gives me real joy to build long-lasting relationships with my clients and candidates. I am naturally curious and inquisitive and love nothing more than really getting to know what people are looking for and what makes them tick. This focus on relationships and a desire to ensure the right fit for clients and candidates has resulted in many of my clients and candidates becoming friends. I stay connected, and I care about the people that I support. This approach over 29 years has allowed me to build an enviable and extensive network across the industry, which is a key differentiator. I have a wide view of the market as a result of friendships and strategic relationships that run deep throughout the industry. This has a major impact on how I run Searches and in particular affects the quality of referencing.
